pakistan: Been seeing "Poco F9 Ultra" everywhere the last couple of days so figured I'd start a thread and put what's real next to what's still just leak talk.
What's actually confirmed (via certifications, not marketing):
- It's shown up in the GSMA IMEI database, Indonesia's TKDN listing, and Singapore's IMDA — so it's real hardware headed for a global release, model number ends in "G" which usually means the international variant
- Taiwan's NCC filing lists 100W wired charging plus 50W wireless on the Ultra
- Storage configs listed: 12/256, 12/512, and 16/512
What's still leak / rumor (WinFuture report, not official yet):
- 6.85" OLED panel, up to 185Hz refresh
- Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
- 200MP main camera, 50MP ultra-wide, 50MP telephoto with 5x zoom
- Battery trimmed to around 8,050mAh (smaller than the Redmi K100 Pro Max it's based on)
- Europe pricing rumored to start near €999 for the top config
On the Pakistan side: the ~Rs 294,999 figure going around on some price-tracking sites is an old placeholder guess, posted before this latest spec leak even dropped. I wouldn't trust it until Xiaomi Pakistan or an authorized importer says something official.
No confirmed launch date anywhere yet — Poco hasn't said a word publicly.
Curious what people here think:
- Is anyone actually holding out for this over the F8 Ultra, or are last year's flagship discounts the smarter buy right now?
- With RAM/storage prices climbing across the industry this year, do you think Poco can keep this anywhere close to "flagship killer" pricing in Pakistan?
