- Analytics & ads: retention is governed by Google’s product settings and policies.
8. Children (COPPA-style)
DiscussionSpot is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal data, contact privacy@discussionspot.com and we will take steps to delete it promptly.
9. Community Guidelines & Moderation Policy
To maintain a safe environment for our users, DiscussionSpot enforces a strict Zero-Tolerance Policy regarding content. Full rules are in our Community Guidelines.
Prohibited Content:
Users are strictly prohibited from posting:
- Abusive language or hate speech.
- Vulgarity or obscenity.
- Sexually explicit material.
Enforcement:
- Immediate Removal: Any content found violating these rules will be instantly removed by our moderation system.
- Warning System: Users violating policies will receive a formal warning.
- Account Termination: Failure to follow the rules or repeated violations will result in the user being permanently banned from the platform.
10. Your Rights (including GDPR-style rights)
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access — request copies of your personal data.
- Rectification — request correction of inaccurate information.
- Erasure — request deletion of your personal data, under certain conditions.
