Community Guidelines

DiscussionSpot is a community-driven forum. These guidelines apply to all posts, comments, stories, chats, profiles, and other user-generated content. They work alongside our Terms of Service.

1. Be Respectful

Debate ideas, not people. Harassment, personal attacks, doxxing, and targeted bullying are not allowed. Assume good faith when someone is asking for help.

2. Zero-Tolerance Content

To maintain a safe environment, DiscussionSpot enforces a strict Zero-Tolerance Policy. Users are strictly prohibited from posting:

  • Abusive language or hate speech.
  • Vulgarity or obscenity.
  • Sexually explicit material.
  • Content that promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age.
  • Threats, incitement to violence, or glorification of harm.
  • Spam, scams, malware links, or unauthorized advertising.
  • Content that infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights.
  • Illegal activity or instructions that facilitate crime.

3. Stay On Topic & Add Value

  • Post in the right community and use clear titles.
  • Share sources when making factual claims where practical.
  • Do not flood communities with low-effort or repetitive content.
  • Self-promotion is limited and must be relevant; spam will be removed.

4. Safety & Privacy

  • Do not share others’ private information without consent.
  • Do not impersonate people or organizations.
  • Report content that appears to involve exploitation or harm to minors immediately.

5. Age Requirement

DiscussionSpot is intended for users 13 years of age or older. If you are under 13, you may not create an account or use the Service.

6. Enforcement

  • Immediate Removal: Violating content may be removed without notice.
  • Warning System: Users may receive a formal warning.
  • Account Termination: Severe or repeated violations can result in a permanent ban.

Community moderators and platform staff may act at their discretion to protect users and the community.
